E.B.T. Evidential Breath Testing- D.OT and non-D.O.T.
B.A.T. Breath Alcohol Testing- D.O.T. and non-D.O.T.
AMS alcohol testing is both regulated and non-regulated. Our breath alcohol technicians are trained professionals in the drug and alcohol testing industry. The Breath Alcohol Technician Certification is required by the Code of Federal Regulations 49 CFR Part 40.
Regulated testing is a process that is federally or locally mandated to ensure that a defined set of standards is followed to preserve the integrity of the results. These standards apply not only to the alcohol technician who performs the test, but also to the technician’s training the equipment used, and the entire process.
Non-regulated testing is required by almost all companies for their non-D.O.T. regulated employees. This testing is performed by the approved Alco-Sensor IV and is available with evidential breath testing.
